York Lanes Dental Office Providing Health and Dental Care to Those in Need, Particularly Children in Remote Areas in Developing Countries

• The YLDO team formed of 2 dentists, 2 hygienists, 1 assistant and 1 volunteer have been accepted to participate in an oversea charity project with Health Outreach in Guatemala "Monterrico". Montericco is a remote region in Guatemala, a developing country, and the population is in desperate need of health and dental care.

• The York Lanes Dental Office Team will be departing Saturday, January 21, 2012. The team will provide educational, preventative as well as urgent care services directly to people in remote areas with unmet healthcare needs.

• According to studies Guatemala has the highest dental caries rate in all Latin America due to the lack of access to dental care!

• The YLDO team will provide pictures and stories of this charitable journey to Guatemala.
