Dr. Ramzi Haddad

Dr. Ramzi Haddad graduated from the Royal Dental Hospital in London, England in 1982. He subsequently completed his Fellowship in Oral Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He worked in various hospitals and dental practices before moving to Canada and starting his own practice as a general dentist.

Since then, he has received various training in the fields of implant dentistry and has become a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). He has also become a Las Vegas Institute (LVI) graduate completing the Advanced Aesthetic and Comprehensive Aesthetic Reconstruction courses in cosmetic dentistry. He received training in Neuromuscular Occlusion and treatment of TMD pain also from LVI.

With this extensive training, this has allowed Dr. Haddad to treat patients in a more comprehensive manner where the teeth and the mouth are looked at as a part of the whole body. A fundamental understanding of neuromuscular occlusion of how the teeth, joints and muscle should function together in harmony, is a prerequisite to reconstruction of the teeth and the whole mouth. With the training in implant dentistry, he not only has the understanding, but the skills and the ability to restore a whole mouth reconstruction.

Dr. Haddad provides various oral surgery procedures such as removal of wisdom teeth, dental implant placement, and other restorative procedures under sedation, so the treatment received is as pleasant as can be in a dental office. He believes in comprehensive dental treatment, but emphasizes education. He believes in presenting as much knowledge to patients to enable them to have the confidence in making their own decisions and therefore contributing to the treatment plan and the final result.

Dr. Guorgui

Dr. Guorgui attended the University of Toronto where he completed a Bachelor of Science degree. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Montreal in 2001. Throughout his studies, he received multiple awards and scholarships for his academic excellence. He then moved to New York City to join the postgraduate residency program at the New York Hospital of Queens, which is one of the leading medical teaching facilities in North America. During his residency program he trained with some of the world's most prominent oral surgeons and periodontists. This experience fostered his passion for oral surgeries. When he moved back to Toronto, he associated in general dental clinics while focusing his practice on performing surgical procedures.

Dr. Guorgui has been dedicated to continuing dental education and has taken numerous courses to further his skills. Learning from the leading experts in the field, he has acquired extensive experience, over the years, in multiple surgical procedures.

Dr. Guorgui truly enjoys performing oral surgeries and is adept at providing a relaxed atmosphere during dental visits. As the comfort of his patients during treatment is of paramount importance to him, he employs IV Sedation for most his wisdom teeth extraction cases and for anxious patients. He has been providing mobile surgical and sedation services in a number of offices in the GTA. His goal is to allow gereral dentists to grow their practices by enabling them to offer their patients a range of surgical dental procedures that can be performed in-house rather then referring them out.

Dr. AMIR Khadivi

Dr. Amir Khadivi completed his undergraduate degree at The University of Western Ontario. He then completed his dental degree with honours at the University of Toronto.

Following this he successfully completed a one year hospital dental residency at mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. Later on, he moved onto UCLA and the prestigious Ronald Regan Hospital where he resumed a one year fellowship in Oral and maxillofacial surgery.

He is now exceptionallly qualified to perform all procedures under Intravenous Sedation.

Dr. diana younan

Dr. Diana Younan completed her BSc at the University of British Columbia in Biology and Near Eastern studies, achieving Dean's list ranking all years of her studies. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine training also at UBC.

Diana finds great pleasure in volunteering her spare time in any capacity around her local community and abroad. Her Saturdays during dental school were spent doing volunteer dental work for the underserved community of the Vancouver Downtown East side, as well as free clinics for under-privileged kids. Globally, Diana has participated in a Dental Missionary trip to villages in Tijuana Mexico, the Hospital for kids in Siem Reap, Cambodia, and will be travelling to Guatemala to participate in the Dental Outreach trip with the York Lanes Dental team.

Since graduating from Dental school, Dr. Diana has continued her education in all areas of Dentistry, most notably in Esthetic Dentistry, Invisalign-the clear braces system, endodontic treatment, restorative dentistry, and several courses on how to excel in patient education and management. Dr. Diana is a member of both the Canadian and Ontario Dental Associations, along with the Toronto East Dental Society.

One of Diana's passions and strong suits is languages-she is fluent in Arabic, French, Spanish and has working knowledge in Italian.
In her own words, Diana believes that "Your teeth are your ultimate accessory", and helping her patients achieve the healthy and beautiful smile they've always longed for is her ultimate mission.

Outside of the dental clinic, Diana is passionate about health, fitness, and fills up any free time with yoga, running, spinning and travelling.

Dr. Rakesh Maini

Dr. Rakesh Maini was born in Nairobi, Kenya. He studied in Kenya, England and Canada. Prior to coming to Canada Dr. Maini Interned at the Royal Dental Hospital in London, England, and he was also in General Practice in London. In Canada, he started out with the Ontario Ministry of Health rendering dental care to schoolchildren from Mobile Dental Clinics in Northern Ontario remote outposts and lumber towns. After this tenure, Dr. Maini took up an Associate position in Hamilton. Dr. Maini was also on the teaching staff of the Postgraduate Program at Hamilton General Hospital, and also on the teaching staff of Niagara College Dental Assistants program and the Dental Hygienists program. In 1981 Dr. Maini started his own office in Burlington. Subsequently, he also opened a dental office in Toronto focusing on cosmetic dentistry.

Presently Dr. Maini works at York Lanes Dental, and at his office in Kitchener and at his other office in Burlington. Dr. Maini enjoys being a dentist and likes to be busy. He is passionate about dentistry and is committed to the dental care of his patients. Cosmetic dentistry is a particular love for Dr. Rakesh Maini. Over 20 years ago Implant dentistry became a natural adjunct to Dr. Maini's dental services. Dr. Maini is a member of the Toronto Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The Toronto Implant Study Club, The Canadian Dental Association, The Ontario Dental Association plus various other organizations. Some of his hobbies include fly fishing, horseback riding, downhill skiing, flying, building tree-houses, sheds and decks, working on and with computers, and spending time with family, and of course, dentistry. In his spare time Dr. Rakesh Maini is an active member of Wellington Square Masonic Lodge and The Hiram #2 Royal Arch Chapter. Dr. Maini lives in Burlington with his wife and their three children.

Dr. Wan-Chow-Wah

Originally from Montreal, Dr. Patricia Wan-Chow-Wah is fluent in English, French and Mauritian Creole. She graduated from McGill University in 2002 with the degrees of Doctor of Dental Medicine and Bachelor of Science in Microbiology & Immunology with distinction. To expand her education, she subsequently completed a full year clinical Post-Graduate Dental Residency Program at the Montreal General Hospital with a focus on Periodontics and Prosthodontics.

Committed to excellence and dedicated to being on the cutting edge of her profession, Dr. Wan-Chow-Wah is certified in Oral Sedation, Nitrous Oxide Sedation and Intra-Venous Moderate Conscious Sedation. She has also taken part in comprehensive courses at the Misch International Implant Institute, a world renowned facility at the forefront of Implant Dentistry, and completed an Advanced Periodontal and Implant Surgical Program from the University of Michigan-School of Dentistry. Dr. Wan-Chow-Wah is also a certified Invisalign provider and takes pride in staying abreast of the latest advancements in her profession. Her on-going dedication to continuing education courses has always been with her patients' best interest at heart.

Dr. DAN HAGI

Dr. Dan Hagi educated at the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Hagi was one of the youngest graduates to ever receive his doctorate degree. During his years of private practice Dr. Hagi gained an acute eye for aesthetic dentistry. Pursuing his specialized interest, he continued his education by acquiring a number of certifications and credentials in this field, including the Postgraduate Program in Aesthetic Dentistry at the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, the Misch Implant Institute Surgical Program, the Hornbrook Group Ultimate Occlusion and Invisalign Certifications. Dr. Hagi continues to tirelessly pursue continuing education in the areas of minimally invasive aesthetic and general dentistry.

Dr. Hagi achieved his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2006 and his Fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists in 2008. In addition to his professional memberships in the Ontario Dental Association (ODA) and the Canadian Dental Association (CDA), Dr. Hagi is also a general member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the Canadian Society of Oral Implantology and the International Federation of Aesthetic Dentists. Dr. Hagi is recognized as a Founding Member of the Canadian Academy for Cosmetic Dentistry.
